Rongomai Park Development

Rongomai Park was being developed into a multi-faceted sports ground including football pitches, clubrooms and associated car parking. As part of the project, detailed consideration of the vehicle access arrangements, detailed car parking prediction and design, together associated reporting for consenting purposes was required.

TPC provided traffic engineering expertise on the project including pedestrian integration; car parking arrangements; and vehicle access improvements. Project deliverables included analysis of on-site car parking demands including carrying out detailed traffic and parking demand surveys; prediction of future parking demands; assessment of the impact on the adjacent road network; the preparation of a traffic impact assessment report; and liaison with the Local Authority during the Resource Consent process.
