Foodstuffs Supermarkets

TPC has assisted Foodstuffs North Island Limited since 2002 in the development of a large number of PAK'nSAVE, New World and Four Square supermarkets throughout the North Island, providing traffic engineering and transport planning services through all stages of development, including detailed design, resource consent and construction.

Our input typically includes a detailed assessment of site access options in full consultation with the Road Controlling Authority, including analysis with appropriate macro and micro transport models; detailed assessment and design of on-site layouts of circulation, car parking and servicing; identification of required mitigation measures to minimise potential impacts on the transport environment; preparation of the Integrated Transport Assessment report for resource consent; and presentation of expert evidence at the Council resource consent hearing and subsequent Environment Court hearings where necessary.
