How to Improve the Financial Viability of a Project

The Challenge: Our client wanted to expand their activity to cater for a range of new customers. This expansion included new buildings and a need to provide a large number of new parking spaces. The overall costs significantly exceeded the budget available.

Our Approach: We developed a Travel Demand Management Plan for the facility to reduce car travel, manage congestion effects and reduce the number of car parks required.

Outcome: Implementation of the TDM plan allowed our client to save $4 million of capital cost and $200,000 annually of on-going operating expenditure.
