Steve is based in the Hawkes Bay and has nearly 50 years of professional experience in traffic and highway engineering, traffic safety and road safety auditing. Over the past 20 years he has provided road safety expertise on a wide variety of projects throughout New Zealand ranging from state highway motorway projects to local intersection designs, transport priority improvements, and pedestrian/cyclist facilities. Steve also lectured for 11 years at the annual Safe System Engineering course on the Safety of Urban Roads and the Safety of Intersections
